Echoes of the Coast – A New Exhibition in Daróg by Tiffani Love

Originally from Northern New York and now based in the West of Ireland, Love’s artwork is a reflection of her deep connection to the land, shaped by movement, observation, and immersion in the natural world. Her paintings respond to the landscapes she walks through, capturing their shifting nature and the delicate balance between past and present.

This collection explores the dynamic nature of local seascapes, capturing the essence of Galway Bay, Roundstone, and the Cliffs of Moher. Love’s paintings invite viewers to experience the interplay of past and present, as the shifting environment reveals its layers beneath the surface.

Love holds a BFA from SUNY Plattsburgh and an MFA from Burren College of Art. She has exhibited widely, with notable shows in Galway, Cork, Belfast, New York, and Nashville. A two-time recipient of the Arts Council of Ireland’s Agility Award (2022 & 2023), she has also been honoured with the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant (2022 & 2024) and a Galway City Council Creative Practitioner Bursary (2024). Recently, she was awarded the inaugural Plein Air Painter Artist Residency at Glenveagh National Park in Donegal. Since 2022, Love has been a member of Barton Studios in Galway, where she continues to refine her practice.

Echoes of the Coast will be on display at Daróg Wine Bar from 4th March to 2nd May 2025.
