Santa is a difficult man to keep track of at the best of times, and especially in the winter months. We'll never understand how he has the time, but Santa will be visiting our lovely Galway this festive season and we've given you a list of the best places to see him. Bring the kids along, he's taking Santa letters, having parties, and has even brought friends along for balloon making, singing, face-painting, you name it! SANTA AT WILDLANDS
Santa is coming to the winter wonderland town of Baile Beag, the imaginative play village at Wildlands Activity Centre. Not only this, but there’s plenty of other bits and pieces for everyone to do. Take a break from all the fun and enjoy some yummy seasonal treats in the Olive Tree Kitchen. A family favourite for years, Loughwell Farm Park are bringing their Winter Wonderland back again this Christmas season. Children have the opportunity to meet Santa and even get a present off of him, along with everyone in the family getting to use all of the facilities at the Farm Park. With mega slides, animals and playgrounds, you’re guaranteed hours of fun no matter what age you are. A MAGICAL CHRISTMAS WITH GLENLO ABBEY HOTEL
Celebrate Christmas at the wonderful Glenlo Abbey Hotel & Estate and experience the aroma of spiced, mulled wine, the warmth of your welcome and the crackling open fires. On Christmas Day, enter into the French Room for a Champagne reception and canapés served by the fireside, followed by a traditional Christmas Lunch with Santa Claus who has gifts for all the children that afternoon. Making its return to the City of Tribes, the Galway Christmas Market is a must visit when in Galway over the winter months. Featuring the highly popular 32m observation wheel, Après Ski Bar, Santa’s Express Train, a traditional Carousel and over 50 wooden chalets which line Eyre Square, offering scrumptious seasonal treats and a variety of crafts.
