Ahascragh Distillery

Built within a restored nineteenth century mill, guests can taste and tour their way around the state-of-the-art Ahascragh Distillery, exploring whiskey and gin production from grain to glass and the history of an old mill. Their range of products include the award-winning Xin Gin and Clan Colla. This is Ireland’s first zero-emissions distillery and offers a unique experience for all whiskey and gin enthusiasts and those interested in history, tradition and craftsmanship. Micil Distillery

Led by Pádraic Ó Griallais, a 6th generation distiller. Micil Distillery traces its roots back to 1848, when Pádraic’s great-great-great grandfather, Micil Mac Chearra, began producing poitín from a small stillhouse in Connemara.They distil now the same way they’ve always done, by hand and in small batches, using local Connemara botanicals and unique family recipes. Tribe Irish Gin School

Ireland’s largest Gin School began during the Covid pandemic by four friends who wanted to bring a new experience to Galway City. Located in the seaside Salthill, aside from enjoying the refreshing taste of their gin, at the award-winning Tribe Gin School you opt to join their tasting tours or masterclasses. Their Gin School Masterclass will give you the chance to learn about the Gin distilling process and how different botanicals, citrus fruits, florals and spices can influence the flavour of gin and from there you can create, distil and bottle your own unique gin recipe to bring home with you.
