Keep things Current with your local Credit Union

Always eager to evolve and quick to respond to their members’ changing needs, St. Anthony’s & Claddagh Credit Union (SACU) and St. Jarlath’s Credit Union (SJCU) have just launched a brand new current account that’ll allow members to reap the rewards of a mainstream banking with that added personal touch you can only get at your local Credit Union.

For those who aren’t aware, Credit Unions are not-for-profit organisations run by the members, for the members. A deeply valued and thoroughly embedded aspect of our communities, Credit Unions exist all over Ireland to assist their members in managing their finances. Committed to providing a personal experience that you can rely on, the addition of this current account will allow members to access funds online, while maintaining the personal touch with their in-branch facilities.

Between St. Anthony’s & Claddagh and St. Jarlath’s, these Galway-based Credit Union branches make up 14 of the 115 participating locations. SACU has three locations extending from the city centre to Maam Cross, while SJCU’s eleven locations cover an extensive area surrounding Tuam. Two beloved and highly trusted Credit Unions that have worked together on a number of projects in the past - including The Connect Card, Renovate360 loans and Educate360 loans - they’re teaming up once again on the launch of the highly anticipated current account.
