Novels & Notions is a brand new club that Plámás is holding in association with Charlie Byrne's hosted by This is Galway’s very own Chloe Richardson! To get involved, message their Instagram. We Are ArtClub
Join local artist Aisling Kearney Burke each month to create a fabulous new painting. No experience is necessary, We Are ArtClub is designed for everyone to have a great day out, whether you are a regular painter or haven't picked up a brush since school. Just Art It
We all have a creative spark inside of us! Sometimes, we just need the tools to connect to our creativity and nurture it. At Just Art It Galway you’ll learn techniques, the use of tools and supports. Kayaking Club
Galway Kayaking Club is a local club run by voluntary members who share a wide variety of skills in paddle-sports disciplines including, sea kayaking, marathon, playboating, canoeing, white-water and canoe polo. There is some type of paddling for everyone. In order to join Galway Kayak Club you must hold a Canoeing Ireland Level 2 Kayak Skills Award or higher. Galway Bay Sailing Club and Galway Hooker Sailing Club are both ideal if you have an interest in sailing, boat building or just being part of a club. They organise and facilitate the racing or sailing of dinghies, cruisers, and multihulls for adults and junior members. They also offer training and instructions to anyone who is interested in learning to sail. Galway Hooker Sailing Club welcomes anyone and everyone to join their club. Take part in their sailing sessions, boat restoration classes, and weekly events. If you’d rather stay on dry land, they have a membership option which includes all the activities happening off the waters.

The club is open to people of all skill levels and abilities within their over 18s mens and womens teams. With competitions and special events for the club members, Galway’s only softball club is a sociable place for anyone with an interest in joining.

If you like the sound of a club that focuses on protecting Galway’s wildlife, look no further than Irish Wildlife Trust’s Galway Branch. Join the like minded members who have a passion for nature.
