Flavour on the Horizon as Atlantic Drifters set to dock at Pálás

Exciting news for The Latin Quarter Galway! Fans of Eoin Coyle’s Atlantic Drifters Food Truck will be delighted to hear he is setting up shop at Pálás Cinema to add delicious food to the menu of great films. More details below...

From Thursday March 3rd, Eoin and his team are making a comeback after a temporary hiatus, taking up residence in Pálás Cinema’s bar where they’ll be serving a perfect menu to grab a bite before (or after) a film!

On taking over the kitchen at Pálás, Eoin Coyle exclaimed; "I'm beyond excited to be setting up Atlantic Drifters in such a beautiful building and in such a historic part of Galway. I hope to make my neighbourhood proud. The food is gonna be class and the craic will be 90!"

Atlantic Drifters proved to be a huge hit with locals during lockdown hitching up on The Long Walk with people coming from far and wide to sample their delights, so there should be a big welcome back to the area next week.

"We are thrilled to have Eoin joining our little family at Pálás cinema." said Ruta Vitosiene, General Manager of Pálás. "He excels in everything he serves up, dishes infused with creativity and flair to everyone’s taste. We are so excited for this new opportunity and new experience of great local food, entertainment, and events."

Opening hours will be from *Tuesday-Saturday 5pm-9pm, and Sunday brunch 11.30am-3.00pm. It will be walk-ins only with no bookings for the moment. (*except for the opening week)

The menu will include customer favourites from Atlantic Drifters' days serving from their food truck on The Long Walk (like the delectable fish tacos!) but will rotate depending on seasonality and availability and, as ever, using the very best local suppliers.
