GHR Consulting Celebrates 7th Birthday with €3,500 Community Sponsorship Fund for Youth Teams

As part of its 7th birthday celebrations this October, GHR Consulting is offering seven sponsorship packages of €500 each that will be made available to local U18 and below youth teams, schools and sports clubs. As a Galway-founded and based company, the initiative aims to give back to GHR’s local community by supporting youth development and sports participation.

Teams and clubs are invited to enter via the company’s website, with entries taking approximately two minutes. Winners will be chosen at random, and the initiative is open to any school, or local community club or sports team that supports youth development for ages 18 and under.

The sponsorships aim to support youth club development with costs such as equipment, new kit, tournament fees or team-related activities.

Speaking about the initiative, Ruairi Guckian, Managing Director of GHR Consulting, said; "GHR Consulting has long been involved in local fundraising. Reaching our 7th milestone is something we’re incredibly proud of, and we felt there was no better way to celebrate our birthday than by giving back to the Galway communities that have supported us. €500 can make a big difference for a local team or school squad needing new jerseys or training gear, or to cover tournament entry fees, so we hope this sponsorship fund can help a small local team grow and engage more young people."

How to Apply
Applications are officially open to all eligible teams, clubs, and primary or secondary school teams for ages 18 and under. Teams can submit a brief entry explaining how the €500 funding would benefit their team at ghrconsulting.ie/7thbirthday.

Entries close on Friday October 9th, 2026.

The 7 lucky winners will be selected at random and announced on GHR Consulting’s 7th birthday on October 16th.
