For some seafood dining and a creamy pint with a real taste of the Atlantic, head west to Pádraicíns. Perched by the seaside in Furbo, this bar and seafood restaurant is all about sea views, fresh fish, and relaxed coastal vibes. On a sunny day, there’s nothing better than sitting outside with a cold drink as the waves roll in. Pádraicíns are also dog friendly on the outside patio and beer garden when the weather is fine, so if you want to share the experience with your pup be sure to visit them.

O’Reilly’s Bar & Kitchen

The rooftop terrace at O’Reilly’s Bar & Kitchen is a welcoming retreat from the busyness of Salthill village below. Providing fantastic dining experience along the Wild Atlantic Way, at this beloved Salthill spot you can enjoy a hearty meal, a perfectly poured pint, and stunning views of the Salthill beaches, Galway Bay, and the Clare Hills beyond. In the summer this rooftop bar is a favourite with locals as it’s ideal for catching one of Salthill’s famous sunsets as well as hosting a BBQ with friends/family/colleagues.

Kelehans Bar & Restaurant 

Address: N59, Bushypark, County Galway.
Located just outside the city, Kelehans in Bushypark combines traditional Irish charm with views of the surrounding countryside. This is a classic spot to escape the hustle and bustle of night out in the city, enjoy a pint, and take in the scenery of Bushypark. The views come courtesy of their large beer garden at the rear of the bar where we’ve often sat to enjoy a few pints in the sunshine or watch some live sports on its humongous television. Whether you’re here for a quiet pint or out with your pals, Kelehans never disappoints.

 

Ravi’s Bar & Restaurant 

Address: 1 Market Street, Clifden, Connemara.
If possible when you visit, we will always recommend sitting in their beer garden of Ravi’s. The space is covered and heated, and overlooks Clifden Harbour meaning that you are guaranteed pretty spectacular views as you drink and dine. After a day exploring Connemara and Clifden town, Ravi’s is the perfect place to unwind with a drink in hand, delicious seafood, and if you time it right some fabulous live music.

Situated right along the famous Salthill Promenade, the terrace at the Blackrock Bar offers prime viewing for Galway Bay’s buzzing seaside happenings and colourful evening sunsets. Connolly’s Pub

For an al fresco drink with a view, Connolly’s Pub is one of the nicest in South Galway. It’s a brilliant stop on your way to or from the Burren, where you can relax with a pint and soak up the atmosphere of this colourful village. If you’re feeling a bit hungry, just note that Upstairs at Connolly’s is one of the nicest seaside dining experiences we’ve ever had.

For some truly unforgettable views, hop on a ferry to Inis Oírr, the smallest of the Aran Islands and visit Tigh Ned. Tigh Ned is a legendary local pub where you can enjoy traditional music, a lively atmosphere, and jaw-dropping views of the Atlantic. Few pints in Ireland come with a backdrop quite like this. Their picturesque beer garden is also one of the coolest you’ll ever visit.
