Connacht Hospitality Group Set Ambitious Fundraising Target

The Connacht Hospitality group have set themselves an ambitious target to raise €100,000 for four worthy charities this year! Read on to find out who they will raise money for...

The Charities which will benefit from the year-long calendar of events include Claddagh Watch Patrol, National Breast Cancer Research Institute, Galway Hospice and Make-A-Wish Ireland. The entire team, across all of the businesses, have an exciting year of events and activations planned.

Connacht Fundraising

The Galway based Connacht Hospitality Group operate three hotels in Galway City; The Residence Hotel, The newly refurbished and rebranded HYDE Hotel and their flagship property The Connacht Hotel. They also operate a 24-hour Active Fitness Leisure Club as well as three leading licence premises including An Pucan, 1520 Bar, HYDE Bar & Gin Parlour and the best parkland golf-course in Connacht, the Galway Bay Golf Resort, with future plans to build a luxury 4-star hotel and spa on the resort. They are also a partner company of Greenway construction.

Fundraising

Claddagh Watch Patrol do trojan work in monitoring the waterways around our city. Galway Hospice, as the closest neighbour to The Connacht Hotel, do amazing work supporting people to live with a life limiting illness. National Breast Cancer Research Institute is a national charity that funds a comprehensive research programme at the National University of Ireland, Galway. Make-A-Wish is a national children’s charity which grants wishes to children living with life-threatening illnesses bringing hope, joy and precious memories to each child and their family.
