Connacht Hospitality Group Launch Galway Races’ Festival of Fashion

This year's Galway Races promises to be the most stylish edition yet and the 'Festival of Fashion' has already kicked off in earnest with a show at Hyde Bar Galway.

Hyde Bar Galway, one of Galway’s most stylish bars, was the venue for a very chic event hosted by the Connacht Hospitality Group, who are the sponsors of this year's Ladies Day Best Dressed competition. The afternoon fashion showcase shone a spotlight on some of the latest looks in Brown Thomas Galway. Head Judge for this year's Ladies Day Best Dressed competition, Mandy Maher was joined by fellow judge Kieran O Malley to host the event which was attended by a number of well-known fashionistas such as Grainne Seoige, Jennifer Wrynne, Niamh O Donavan, Pam Richardson and many more.

The Connacht Hospitality Group have come on board as the sponsors of this year's Ladies Day Best Dressed competition, putting forward a huge prize fund of €13,000; €10,000 cash for the Best Dressed Prize and €3,000 for the Best Hat. The Judging panel on the big day, who have the unenviable task of picking the winners, were the hosts of this exclusive fashion show; Mandy Maher of Catwalk Model Agency and Kieran O Malley, both of whom shared insights into their favourite style on social media following the sell out show.

Jekyll at Hyde has very quickly become recognised as the most photogenic bar in the city with a whole host of companies using it as a location for photoshoots. The likes of Harper, Ór Jewellery and Carraig Donn have been strutting their stuff and showing off their wares in this picturesque, beautifully-designed space. Hyde Bar will be the place to be seen this Race Week with lots of fantastic entertainment lined up for the week including The Ladies Day After party featuring Sax Appeal!
