Never ones to leave an opportunity unexplored, John Shields and Jason Gallagher the team behind Galway founded company What's for Dinner.ie, realised that the need for delivering “just about anything” on-demand was too much to go un-actioned.

“It all came about during Covid to be honest,” enthused John Shields, Founder of We-Fetch. “Running Whats for Dinner.ie was all hands to the pump and something we could barely keep up with at the time. Yet on top of us delivering our typical basket of fast food, restaurants and groceries, we were absolutely bombarded with requests to collect and deliver literally everything you can think of. Fast forward to the present day and We-Fetch offers on-demand collection and drop-off for everything from your Click & Collect purchase (whether it’s Elvery’s Sport Shop or Tesco’s groceries), marketplace Done Deal/Facebook purchases, pharmacy collections, animal transportation (collection and drop-off to the vet, kennels or sitter), to even collecting your take-away from restaurants that don’t offer a delivery service! “Literally we will collect and drop almost anything.”
