A huge combined effort goes into delivering Culture Night successfully across the Island of Ireland each year and Lorg Media was a key partner in achieving this.”

This follows numerous other successes for the agency at the Sockies, including winning ‘Best Small Agency’ in 2021, and bronze accolades in categories including ‘Best Content Creation Studio’ and ‘Best Multi-Platform Campaign for Events’.

Lorg Media at the Sockies

In its 14th year, the Sockies Social Media Awards celebrate the best examples of social media campaigns by brands, agencies, NGOs and SMEs each year.

Damien Mulley, founder of the Sockies, commented on Lorg Media’s growth: "It’s great to see Lorg Media evolve over the last few years. Every year they have been iterating and getting better. They have put in the hard work and this year really has seen the fruits of their labour. They started as a small boutique agency, they have competed with the best in Ireland and they have won. It’s a credit to them, and a credit to Loretta who runs the whole ship."

Founded in 2011, Lorg Media is a dynamic creative digital agency with offices in Maigh Cuilinn in the Connemara Gaeltacht and in Galway’s magical West End. The agency is passionate about creating new and innovative ways to promote Irish businesses, culture, arts and the Irish language on the island of Ireland and beyond.

Loretta Ní Ghabháin, Founder and Director of Lorg Media, said: “Taking home 3 Awards at this year's Sockies is testament to how our agency has evolved over the years. From winning Small Agency of the Year 3 years ago to now taking home Best Medium Sized Agency in Ireland is a huge achievement for our growing team. To also take home Content Creation Studio of the Year is acknowledgement of the engaging creative content our team produces. Irish Culture is at the heart of all we do and our win for best Social Media strategy for our work with the Arts Council on Culture Night was the cherry on top.”
