A Made-in-Galway success story, Glór Tíre is broadcast on Ireland’s national Irish language station, Connemara based, TG4, and produced by Galway production company, Gael Media.

Glór Tíre is the search for Ireland’s new Country Music star. Season 21 will see eight emerging talents fight for the coveted title of Glór Tíre Country Music Champion 2025: John Mullan (Derry/Tyrone), Erin Noone (Meath), Marion Kelly (Limerick), Jack Larry (Donegal), Michaela Harkin (Donegal), Paddy Treacy (Fermanagh), Conor Ownes (Fermanagh), and Jack Gladney (Carlow).

Each contestant will be mentored through the series by a leading name in Irish Country Music. Tyrone’s Cliona Hagan will mentor John Mullan and Erin Noone; Co Galway’s Mike Denver will guide Marion Kelly and Jack Larry; Donegal’s David James will take Michaela Harkin and Conor Ownes under his wing; while The Tumbling Paddies will mentor Paddy Treacy and Jack Gladney.

While the new series will be aired during March and April, the opening four episodes will be recorded on 29th and 30th January, and Country fans are encouraged to attend and apply for tickets to enjoy live music and dancing!

Glór Tíre will be presented by Aoife Ní Thuairisg. The resident judges will be Jó Ní Chéide, from RTÉ Raidio na Gaeltachta, and singer Caitriona Ní Shuilleabháin. Each week, they will be joined by guest judges, Eddie Rowley from the Sunday World, Hugo Duncan, Sandy Kelly, and Louise Morrissey.

Widely regarded as the premier platform for new and emerging Country and Irish talent, Glór Tíre is highly respected among Country artists and eagerly anticipated each year by Country fans.
