Connemara Brewing Co is a brand-new Carraroe brewery, based in the heart of the Gaeltacht, that is producing two of the nicest beers we’ve ever had the pleasure of gulping down. The freshest flavour in the West of Ireland, their stunning products are now available to order for at-home enjoyment through their website HERE.

Connemara is one of the most unique landscapes on the planet and is blessed with some of the finest fresh water in the world! This precious natural ingredient is combined with outstanding raw materials, and crafted with the know-how of world-class brewers to result in beers with consistently high quality. All of these beers are made from scratch using traditional recipes and the best possible local ingredients which they source directly from carefully selected producers. It’s a real taste of Galway; in fact the head brewer, Aine O’Hora, moved home to the County of the Tribes to take the reins of Connemara Brewing Co after a hugely successful brewing career all over the globe!

One look at the slick, modern packaging and you’ll know the folk behind this Galway company know what they are doing. Francis and Aine take their beer seriously and so decided to focus on producing a small number of beverages really well. Their Connemara Lager is unlike any other lager you’ve drank; a slight maltiness carries the refreshing brightness beautifully. In the dark can, their Connemara Ale has a warmer and more robust flavour that is perfect for a frosty evening spent by the fire. We found it so hard to choose between them so we ordered a mixed case from the Connemara Brewing Co website and we’re sipping on both… it’s win-win!
