Galway Christmas Market presents Magic in the Eyre: A Christmas light show of epic proportions!

From December 9th to 21st, the annual Christmas Market in Eyre Square will present a breathtaking large-scale Christmas animation. The entire facade of the Hardiman Hotel, which borders the south side of the Christmas Market, will serve as the canvas for enchanting Christmas images and a heartwarming tale of a child's quest for Santa. Brought to you by the team at Galway's own Creative Productions company, Milestone Inventive, this spectacle will truly be a festive wonderland of light, colour, and Christmas cheer, to enchant visitors of all ages. It will celebrate the joy of the Christmas season, paying homage to Galway's unique charm and festive spirit.

Magic in the Eyre will be shown nightly at regular intervals from December 9th to 21st (not including Sundays) from 5pm onwards. Magic in the Eyre and Galway Christmas Market are both free and open to all, making them a must- see destination event for families, friends, and anyone looking to immerse themselves in the magic of the Christmas season.

Magic in the Eyre has been supported by the Galway City Council Christmas Fund 2024 to create new and additional experiences for Christmas in Galway City 2024.
