If there is a cultural trait common to Brazil and Portugal it is the table. Be it with the closest family or surrounded by a group of friends, it is around the table that the flow of words, feelings, laughs and cheers occurs, interrupted just by the arrival of a new plate or the sound of wine and beer being poured into a glass. Sharing food is at the heart of our culture, and every moment is a good moment to savour that special dish or taste a unique drink.

In each city, town or village, traditional bars (named “Tasca” in Portugal and “Boteco” in Brazil) are at the centre of social life, a get together place where each one is marked by a unique atmosphere and a special dish that brings people through the door, be it in the coldest day or the warmest night.

This November, on Saturday the 29th at 7pm, Alma Restaurant will host another event dedicated to their common heritage of “Tascas” and “Botecos”, with Thais Piva & Marcos Queiroz filling the room with Brazilian vibes, accompanying a special menu based on traditional Brazilian and Portuguese bar food, not forgetting their unique selection of entirely Portuguese wines.

The unique 6 course set menu is 39€ per person (drinks not included) and, being Alma a small restaurant, booking is highly advised.
