DRINK AND DINE YOUR WAY THROUGH FATHER'S DAY

This Father's Day, give your father exactly what he wants - a day full of delicious food and drink with nobody bothering him.. Sláinte! Across Galway some of our favourite bars and restaurants are running fantastic offers to help you mark the day with your Dad by giving him a complimentary pint with his meal, including; Tom Sheridans Bar & Restaurant in Knocknacarra and MacNeill's Pub on Eyre Square. At Brasserie on the Corner, to make dads feel extra special, they're offering a complimentary Guinness when you purchase a main course for every father. Additionally, for the occasion The Twelve Hotel have prepared a set menu of 2 or 3 courses, which includes a free pint or dessert for Dad. Galway's Flannery's Hotel are going all out this year in their celebrations for Father's Day and you'll find a variety of meal options to suit your taste buds, including fine dining at the Galwegian restaurant, Frankie's Bar & Bistro and Carvery Lunch. Join them for Sunday Lunch this Father's Day, where you can enjoy three delicious courses for just €33 per person! HOW ABOUT A WINE TASTING?

Would you like to do something a bit different to celebrate Father’s Day? Then why not take him out to a free wine tasting at The Universal in Galway's Westend! Both of you can come along and taste some of the finest juice in the land, with Wild Wines, Vinostito, Veraison and Brian’s Wines.

CHEER ON GALWAY TOGETHER!

If your Dad's interests include supporting Galway on the football pitch then that's exactly what would make him happy this Father's Day. TAKE CHILL TO THE NEXT LEVEL

A brilliant way to get some family bonding in this weekend - give the wellness garden over at Train Station Galway a whirl. VISIT AHASCRAGH DISTILLERY

BRING HIM ON A NIGHT OUT

If your Dad is a bit more laid back and a big fuss isn't his thing, than our solution is to simply bring him on a night out in Galway's Westend. The streets are back open for outdoor seating from 6pm each evening and from 3pm on Sundays. Providing you with the perfect opportunity to enjoy some quiet bonding time with the auld lad over a few pints of plain and some of the delicious foodie offerings available. If you want to get him something to help him remember this year's Father's Day, when you are on your night out, pop across into Aplomb (open until 7pm on Tuesday to Saturday) and get him a new item of clothing or a gift card so he can return and browse their rails at another time.
