A Second Big Top is Coming to the Banks of the River Corrib

Saboteurs stand out. They stand up. They challenge the establishment. They are heard. They even make history. This July, a show so larger-than-life will be making its performance debut at the Galway International Arts Festival, and a second Big Top will be arriving with it.

Sabotage, from the renowned circus troupe NoFit State, is a spectacular roller-coaster ride of jaw-dropping circus skills, featuring outrageously talented performers, eye-popping entertainment, aerial feats, live music and stunning imagery. It is certainly not something you want to miss.

Boisterous and audacious, this once-in-a-lifetime, thrilling circus spectacle has captivated audiences all over the world. The company has boasted sold-out runs in New York, Edinburgh and London, and recently at Salzburg’s WinterFest and Marseille at the Biennale Internationale des arts du Cirque with Sabotage; it is simply a must-see spectacle.

The show is directed by Firenza Guidi with original music by David Murray, which will be performed by the members of the NoFit State company in the brand new NoFit State Big Top. Pitched by the banks of the River Corrib and Galway Bay at Nimmo’s Pier, the festival’s second Big Top will be making history and captivating audiences all alike

Almost forty years since its humble beginnings, NoFit State is now one of Europe’s leading large-scale contemporary circus companies, producing professional touring productions. Over the last ten years, NoFit State's productions have visited 19 different countries, played to audiences of over 460,000, as well as received critical acclaim and won numerous prestigious international arts awards.

NoFit State’s  boisterous and audacious Sabotage will be taking place from 11-27th of July at 8pm with matinees at 1pm on Saturdays the 12th, 19th and 26th July and Sundays the 13th, 20th and 27th of July, as part of Galway International Arts Festival. There will be no shows on Tuesday the 15th and Monday the 21st of July. Tickets are on sale now!
