What Persists is a series of detailed ink paintings examining what remains after use, damage, abandonment, or death. Drawing on observation, folklore, and forensic modes of looking, the work considers persistence as residue rather than endurance, what is carried forward materially and symbolically. Animals, human-made objects, and organic matter appear as witnesses within quiet scenes of tension, decay, and continuity, where nature is approached not as refuge but as record.
