The Rise Experience Returns – Seeking Galway Singers to Join a Spectacular 100 Voice Choir

Galway's much-loved Rise Choir is once again opening its doors to welcome singers and music lovers of all ages and abilities to The Rise Experience—an inspiring twelve-week choir programme culminating in a spectacular live performance at Town Hall Theatre. Discover how to get involved below...

Commencing on Thursday, September 10th, the programme is open anyone with a love of music to become part of a 100 Voice Choir, performing alongside a full live band before a sell-out audience as part of the annual Born To Rise Showcase.

No previous singing experience is required, making the programme accessible to complete beginners as well as experienced singers looking to reconnect with their love of music.

Led by Galway-based voice coach Dr. Caren Hession, The Rise Experience is about far more than learning songs. Through music, participants build confidence, form lasting friendships, and experience the joy of belonging to a supportive and uplifting community.

Over twelve rehearsal weeks, participants will learn three powerful contemporary anthems while preparing for one unforgettable night on one of Galway's most iconic stages. Rehearsals take place every Thursday evening at 8.30pm in Corrib Dance Studio, Briarhill, running from September 10th to October 29th before breaking for the Christmas period. Rehearsals resume from January 7th to January 28th, with the final performance taking place at Town Hall Theatre on January 31st.
