The Opacas Celebrate Five Years & Album Launch with Big Night at Monroe’s

Get ready, Galway... The Opacas are back and throwing the ultimate birthday bash at Monroe’s on Friday 3rd October!

Not only are the band celebrating their fifth anniversary, but they’re also marking the release of their brand-new album, recorded earlier this year at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.

The Opacas (Peter Tobin, Mike McLoughlin, Pat Boyle, Joe Treacy and Steve Talbot) have built a reputation for their infectious mix of pop-rock energy, wry humour, and foot-stomping live shows. Think big hooks, harmonies you can’t help but sing along to, and the kind of on-stage chemistry that only comes from years of friendship and mischief.

And they’re not coming alone. Kicking off the night will be Kill Lane, an exciting new band from Dublin already causing a stir on the indie scene with their punchy, melodic sound.

With this stellar lineup, doors opening at 7pm, and Monroe’s famous atmosphere, it promises to be a night of music, laughs, and memories in the making. Whether you’ve followed The Opacas since day one or if you’re just discovering them, this show is the perfect chance to join the celebration.

Tickets are available now through Monroes.ie or directly at www.opacas.com – but don’t hang about, because this one is bound to sell out.

Five years, Abbey Road, and a Galway homecoming – The Opacas are ready to party. See you there!
