This initiative was ignited from an idea by the children of Tiny Mutiny/An Ceannairc Beag Bídeach 2022, developed through research undertaken by Jojo Hynes and Midie Corcoran inspired by Broei in Gent.

As part of Tiny Mutiny 2026, the young creatives are mentored by professional artists, with a dedicated production budget and practical guidance throughout the summer supporting them to bring bold ideas to life across their arts discipline.

The young Artists who were successful in their applications for the Tiny Mutiny ‘Project Awards’ and ‘First Sparks’ are about to embark on a journey with their mentors working towards a public showcase of new work from across the arts for Culture Night on September 18th in The Mall Theatre,Tuam. The selected young artists and mentors will be guided throughout the project by Tuam based Sparkcatchers! Jojo Hynes & Midie Corcoran.
