Pálás Shaking Up Summer Cocktail Menu

This summer, Pálás Cinema & Bar in The Latin Quarter Galway are shaking things up as they launch a brand-new cocktail menu featuring cult classics, seasonal delights and a selection of spritzes to suit everyone’s taste. The refreshed summer menu, which has been specially crafted by the expert bar team, has an emphasis on local, seasonal products, and house-made syrups. New creations and unique takes on classics will be served up all summer long, so try them while you can. These cocktails pair perfectly with some pre-film grub out on the terrace!

Pálás Cocktails Galway

Taking inspiration from some of the most loved cult films, the classic selection has something to quench every cinephile’s thirst, such as an ode to Paul Thomas Anderson’s Boogie Nights with The Dirk Diggler and a mix as complex as Christpher Nolan’s filmography itself, a Galway take on a Dirty Martini - Gincepetion - just in time for Oppenheimer. Other fan favourites include The Tangerines of Inisherin, RedRum and Whiskey Business.

New flavours and faces are now on offer to mark upcoming releases and seasons at Pálás. So whether you’re sitting out waiting for Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City, or getting ready to paint the town pink ahead of Greta Gerwig’s highly anticipated Barbie, you can choose your favourite Movie Margot (Tenebaum or Robbie?) with a Spicy or Sour Cherry Margotrita. Other specialities on offer include a Wes-key Sour, Christine Lady Bird, Cool Rummings and the Blue Berrymore.

The Dirk Diggler - €11
Smirnoff Vodka, passion fruit liqueur, passion fruit puree and fresh lime juice shaken with egg white, served with a shot glass of prosecco.

RedRum - €11
Malibu and Crème de Cassis shaken with a mix of pineapple and cranberry juice, served with fresh blackberries.

The Tangerines of Inisherin - €11
Buffalo Trace Bourbon mixed with a homemade spiced orange syrup and splashed with bitters.

Whiskey Business - €11
Paddy Irish Whiskey, Aperol and Amaro Montenegro shaken with fresh Lemon.

Ginception - €11
A classic mix of Micil Gin and dry vermouth served with olives.

Margotrita - €11
Can be served Spicy or Sour Cherry style. Silver Tequila, Cointreau, and fresh lime juice shaken, served with a salted rim.

Wes-key Sour - €11
Paddy Irish Whiskey, Disaronno and lemon juice shaken with a house-made honey and plum syrup and splashed with bitters.

Christine Lady Bird - €11
Copeland Gin shaken with fresh lemon juice, a house-made raspberry syrup and egg white, garnished with fresh raspberries.

Blue Berrymore - €11
White rum, fresh lime and blueberries muddled together, topped with soda water and
fresh mint.

Cool Rummings - €11
White Rum, Cointreau and fresh lime shaken with mango purée.

Aperol Spritz – €8
Aperol, prosecco and soda water garnished with orange.

Rhuby Slipper Spritz – €8
Copeland Rhuberry Gin, cranberry juice, and soda water garnished with lime.

Limoncello Spritz – €9
Limoncello, prosecco and soda water with a hint of basil.

Hugo Spritz - €9
Elderflower liqueur, prosecco, and soda water garnished with lime and a sprig of mint.

Negroni Sbagliato - €9
Campari, sweet vermouth and prosecco served with an orange slice.
