Your Itinerary:
Day 1 (Tuesday): Omey Island Excursion Embark on a guided excursion to Omey Island, a hidden gem nestled off the Connemara coast. This charming, uninhabited island is steeped in fascinating history and offers a unique escape into nature. Accessible only by foot at low tide, Omey is a place where time seems to stand still. On this walk you’ll have the opportunity to uncover the island’s rich cultural and historical heritage. Omey Island is home to the remains of St. Feichins; an ancient early Christian church, as well as sandy beaches, rugged coastline, and wildflower-strewn meadows. This is an 8 kilometer looped guided walk, taking approximately 3 hours. The difficulty level is Easy.

Day 2 (Wednesday): Inishbofin Island Adventure Step onto the ferry at Cleggan Harbour and cross the water to the captivating island of Inishbofin. Explore the island’s dramatic sea stags, white beaches, and ancient ruins. Experience the unique flora and fauna that call this island home and learn about its fascinating history on the Westquarter Loop from our knowledgeable guide. Covering a distance of 9 kilometers, this looped walk is moderate in difficulty, and takes up to 3 hours. Return Ferry is included.

Day 3 (Thursday): Inis Mór, Aran Islands Check out of the Clifden Station House and drive to Rossaveal to board the ferry to Inis Mór, the largest of the Aran Islands. Settle into the comfort of the Aran Islands Hotel and absorb the unique charm of this ancient island. Explore its rich cultural heritage, from ancient forts to traditional Irish hospitality. Discover Dún Aonghasa, the largest of the prehistoric stone forts of the Aran Islands, and Poll na bPéist, also known as ‘the Serpent’s Lair’ and ‘the Wormhole of Inis Mór’. A packed lunch is provided to fuel your exploration of this picturesque paradise. This is a 9 kilometre looped guided walk, taking approximately 3-4 hours. The difficulty level is Moderate.
