Gourmet Food Parlour is inviting customers across Ireland to join them in celebrating a birthday milestone as the Irish-owned restaurant group marks 20 years in business. On Friday July 31st there will be 20% off all food and drink in GFP locations nationwide and the celebrations will continue all summer long, with 20% off the specials menu throughout August. There will also be limited edition 20th birthday merch available, incredible spot prizes and more surprises happening over the coming weeks. Six million coffees after the first cup was poured in Dún Laoghaire in 2006, Gourmet Food Parlour has become a staple for family breakfasts, bottomless brunches, coffee catchups, lunches and dinners. As a thank you to customers for all their support over the years, Gourmet Food Parlour is bringing back some customer favourites to the menu including the famous Roast Chicken Sandwich and the Fiery Enchiladas. These dishes and more specials will be available at a discounted price during the birthday week from 22nd July – 2nd August 2026, serving up a dose of nostalgia and celebrating the flavours that have been part of the Gourmet Food Parlour journey over the years.
The anniversary also marks an incredible journey for the Irish-owned business. Over the past two decades, Gourmet Food Parlour has welcomed more than seven million customers through its doors, served more than five million dishes, poured over six million coffees and created more than one million cakes, pastries and desserts. From a single 25-seater café, the business has grown to 11 restaurants across Dublin, Galway and Meath and is known for its commitment to using quality Irish ingredients from trusted suppliers including Keelings, Bretzel Bakery and Clonakilty Pudding.
This milestone birthday is a nod to the evolution of Gourmet Food Parlour, the diversification of its offerings and continued ability to meet the changing needs of customers. Over the past two decades, Gourmet Food Parlour has grown far beyond its café roots, building a thriving catering and events division that fuels everything from special occasions to high-performance athletes. For more than 10 years, GFP has proudly partnered with Dublin GAA as its official nutritional meal partner, and today, is recognised as Ireland’s leading sports catering company.

Gourmet Food Parlour’s 20th birthday party will take place on Friday, 31st July, with 20% off food and drinks all day. From breakfast through to dinner, every location across Dublin, Galway and Meath will feature birthday decorations, music, exclusive giveaways and anniversary surprises, with customers also having the chance to win limited-edition 20th anniversary merchandise and spot prizes. Customers are encouraged to book in advance.
It doesn’t stop there with a further 20% off the GFP specials menu throughout the month of August across all locations. The dishes will feature a rotating selection of customer favourites from the last 20 years across lunch, dinner and drinks.
