Galway City Council is committed to supporting the night-time economy by promoting the use of public transport during evening and night-time hours. Ensuring that everyone can enjoy Galway's vibrant nightlife safely and conveniently. 

The National Transport Authority (NTA), in partnership with the Department of Transport and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media, is supporting a new campaign to promote night-time Transport for Ireland (TFI) public transport services nationwide.  This campaign has been developed in collaboration with the Night-Time Economy Advisors in the Night-Time Economy pilot areas across the country. Public Transport

Buses: Galway's bus network continues to operate into the evening, providing a safe and convenient way to travel around the city. [evening and late-night bus routes include: 401, 402, 404, 405, 407, 409, 424, Bus Éireann 419, 425A, 456]
