The Spider Awards are the longest running digital awards in Ireland. Lorg Media are shortlisted for 3 different awards for their campaign Creidim Ionat with Foras na Gaeilge, in partnership with RTÉ. In addition to these, they have also been shortlisted for 'Digital Team of the Year', for their West of Ireland based team of makers and creators.

Creidim Ionat / I Believe in You was a mentor/mentee led, integrated media campaign that saw thousands of people taking their next step on their Irish language journey. The main call to action of this campaign was to pick a partner and set a goal.

Loretta Ní Ghabháin, founder of Lorg Media, said; "The Irish language is the heart of our Creative Agency here at Lorg Media and we knew that the global pandemic had inspired a passionate wave of renewed interest in our language and that the timing was just right for our Creidim Ionat marketing campaign, a concept that had been bubbling away for years! We’re very fortunate that our client Foras na Gaeilge and our media partner RTÉ allowed our creativity to flow on this Campaign. I’m also very proud of our team for being nominated as Digital Team of the Year. It’s a testament to the passion and talent they bring to work every day. Tá mé chomh bródúil as an bhfoireann uilig agus as gach duine a thug cúnamh dúinn ar an mbealach le #CreidimIonat le Foras na Gaeilge agus RTÉ."

Lorg Media are nominated for the following awards:

Best Influencer Led Campaign – Pick a partner and set a goal was the main call to action of this innovative campaign and it was anchored by three mentors – RTÉ podcast Beo ar Éigean hosts; Áine Ní Bhreisleáin, Sinéad Ní Uallacháin and Siún Ní Dhuinn – as they mentored and supported three well-known personalities on their Irish language journey; Michael Fry (Comedian), Marty Morrissey (RTÉ Presenter & Commentator) and Marissa Carter (Founder and CEO of Carter Beauty), to achieve their own personal language goal within four weeks.

Digital Team of the Year – for the Creative Agency Lorg Media.

Best Integrated Media Campaign – for their work on Creidim Ionat with Foras na Gaeilge, incorporating press, a television promo, radio adverts, outdoor advertising, podcasts, blogs, newly commissioned GIPHYs, a weekly newsletter, an interactive website and a targeted digital advertising campaign.

Best Collaboration – for Lorg Media’s work on #CreidimIonat for Foras na Gaeilge who brought together the great partnership with RTÉ.

The Spider Awards take place on Friday, March 3rd in Dublin’s Mansion House.
