Galway Grá Festival launches on Leap Day in Latin Quarter

The Galway festival celebrating love of all kinds returns for its fourth year with a very special theme; Leap Year Day!

The Galway Grá / Galway Love Festival will take place from February 29th – March 3rd with a whole host of romantic and atmospheric events to celebrate love. Festival Highlights Include:

- Free Claddagh & Celtic Jewellery Pamper Packs for all couples who get engaged on Leap Year Day!

- Historical walking tours tracing the steps of Galway’s icons of love with Jonathan Hannon.

- An exhibition of love-inspired artwork throughout the windows of the Latin Quarter and in Pálás cinema bar featuring work by Tom Mathews, Margaret Nolan, DeAn Patterson, Caoimhe Lavelle and many more.

- Free caricatures by Jim Cogan, a poetry hotline where a custom poem is composed for you over a phone-call, stand-up comedy MC’d by John Moynes, a poetry reading in Charlie Byrne’s, discos and masquerade balls!
