BAFTA & Perrier award winning comedian & actor Dylan Moran has landed himself a new role: the Artist In Residence for Galway Comedy Festival, which takes place Tuesday 22nd-Monday 28th October. As well as Dylan performing stand-up comedy across the week, he is now a member of the Festival’s team and will oversee a unique array of daily events throughout the festival. Find out more here...
To announce Dylan Moran’s plans for his Residency, Galway Comedy Festival has revealed two bespoke posters designed by Dylan for #GCF24. From October 23 - 27, an exhibition of his painted works will be on display for visitors to Outset Gallery in Galway’s Latin Quarter. This exhibit will also showcase works created by fellow comedians Colin Murphy & Phill Jupitus.
In addition to the exhibition, Dylan & the Festival team have curated a line-up of interactive and engaging events to take place in Outset Gallery. Through workshops, classes, conversations and collaborative events, the line between passive audience member and active creator will be blissfully blurred.
