Galway City Council is taking proactive steps to enhance safety within the city's evening and night-time economy. Recognising the unique challenges faced by businesses and individuals operating in the evening and night-time, Galway City Council is providing free training sessions focused on safety and best practices. Businesses are welcome to sign up for one or both training sessions. However, participation in both is highly encouraged for the most complete learning experience

This initiative is a key component of Galway City Council's Night-Time Economy Action Plan and reinforces the city's ongoing commitment to a safe and vibrant night-time environment, as exemplified by its Purple Flag accreditation.

10:00 – 12:00: Vulnerability, Anti-Sexual Harassment, and Bystander Awareness Training
