This much-loved local business was delighted to receive no less than 5 All Ireland Awards for their extensive range of sausages at the National Finals in Portlaoise recently. With shops in Oughterard at the gateway to Connemara and the Eyre Square Centre at the heart of Galway City, this is a third generation family business and now the proud holders of 5 Awards including 2 Gold Awards for their ever-popular Traditional Sausage and their Pork and Garlic Sausage.
In addition they took home two Silver Awards for their delicious Pork and Black Pepper Sausage and their Pork and Leek Sausage. They received Bronze for their savoury and increasingly popular Pork, Tomato and Basil Sausage. All sausages are freshly-made in every day in-house at Roger Finnerty & Sons by the talented, highly skilled butchers John Mc Quinn and Gerry Conneely who have years of experience and are familiar faces to their loyal customers!
