The wait is over… the new Sonny Molloy’s whiskey is hitting shelves very soon and you’re invited to celebrate the occasion on Wednesday, 25th June at 7.30pm.

A collaboration of two local legends that has been generations in the making, Sonny Molloy’s are thrilled to announce the release of the limited edition Micil Inverin Small Batch Single Casks, bottled exclusively for ourselves in Sonny Molloy’s Irish Whiskey Bar.

Savour not one but three handpicked whiskeys including; Chestnut Cask, Spanish Oak and Port Cask. These bottlings are from three individual and distinct 64 litre casks from Micil Inverin whiskey, which has received many prestigious accolades. With a very gentle whisper of that iconic Micil peat smoke, each of the 3 casks are bottled in 700ml bottles and are at 46% ABV. They’re non-chill filtered and the colour is very natural.

The partnership between Sonny Molloy’s and Micil Distillery is the perfect fit, where a passion for whiskey is at the heart of both local Galway businesses. Micil is a 6th generation family-run distillery, who’ve created three unique whiskeys that will only be available here in Sonny Molloy’s Irish Whiskey Bar.

Enjoy a celebration of all things Connemara and the West of Ireland at the launch event on Wednesday 25th June with tastings, music and entertainment to make this a memorable occasion. It’s an opportunity to be part of the first official tasting of these limited-edition whiskeys, with plenty of ceol, ol agus craic guaranteed!

Tickets are now on sale for the launch event but places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment. Please note you must be over 18 years of age to attend.
