Tonnta 2026: Padraig Jack agus a Chairde ag An Taibhdhearc

Bí linn d’oíche iontach cheoil ina gcuirfidh an t-amhránaí is scríbhneoir clúiteach as Oileáin Árann, Padraig Jack, beocht ina cheol tíre spreagthach dátheangach i dteannta banna iomlán agus aíonna speisialta. Déantar fuaim chomhaimseartha a mheascadh le háilleacht liriciúil na Gaeilge i gceol Padraig Jack agus cothaítear meanma agus croí scéalaíochta an iarthair ann – is fiú go mór freastal ar an tráthnóna seo!

Join us for a wonderful night of music where the acclaimed Aran Islands singer-songwriter Padraig Jack brings his soulful bilingual folk to life with a full band and special guests. Fusing contemporary sound with the lyrical beauty of the Irish language, Padraig Jack’s music captures the spirit and storytelling heart of the west – an evening not to be missed!

Irish bilingual singer-songwriter Padraig Jack was born and raised in the Aran Islands Gaeltacht, which influences his Celtic, Folk, and Contemporary music. His RTE Folk Awards nominated hit single about the islands, ‘Making Sand’, helped establish Padraig as one of Ireland’s finest contemporary songwriters with plaudits from Hot Press magazine and Mike Scott (The Waterboys), on its release, ‘Making Sand’ spent four weeks at Number 1 on the RTE Radio 1 Airplay Chart.

2024 saw Padraig release his second album ‘These Shores’ and perform to a 4000-strong hometown crowd at the Galway International Arts Festival Big Top as special guest to The Saw Doctors. Padraig started 2025 with sold-out shows at Dublin TradFest and Kilkenny TradFest, and he also made his debut at La Festival Interceltique de Lorient, Celtic Connections in Glasgow, Folk Alliance in Montreal and the St Patrick’s Day Festival in Dublin.
