Now a well-established and exclusive tradition in Sonny Molloy’s Irish Whiskey Bar, Galway.. you are invited to join us for the official launch & first tasting of the new Midleton Very Rare 2026 Vintage Release.

Hosted by Andrew Dickey, Brand Engagement & Advocacy Team Manager with Irish Distillers, the evening beings at 7pm on Wednesday, 11th March with drinks on arrival. Enjoy an interactive tasting of this highly anticipated new premium Irish whiskey, with comparisons to the MVR 2025 release, along with some surprise tastings on the night.

Sharing platters of food will also be served, along with giveaways and plenty of whiskey chat of course! Early booking is advised as it’s always a sell-out occasion.

Sonny Molloy’s has often been regarded as ‘The Home of Midleton in the West of Ireland’, and the bar has been fortunate to host many of the MVR releases over the years. It’s also one of the only bars in the world to display the full Midleton Very Rare collection.
