M.Fest Presents a double bill with Michelle Palmer & Léa Cutaya, Ekaterini Hogan, Glenna Gerstenkorn + Co. of Au Natural & Phase With Me.

Au Naturel (Michelle Palmer) is a creative contemplation of the relationships we have with our bodies and with the earth. Through dance, storytelling, and immersive performance exploring those connections, it will journey through historical and modern day beliefs, rituals, and cultural constructions around menstruation. In a celebration of all natural rhythmic cycles – in women, in men, in the environment – this performance challenges taboos and stigmas, and promotes caring attention and sacred connection to our bodyscapes and landscapes.

Phase With Me (Léa Cutaya, Ekaterini Hogan, Glenna Gerstenkorn + Co.) is a devised dance performance merging contemporary dance & elements of contact improvisation. The piece uses the lens of dance to explore and represent the four inner seasons of the menstrual cycle, and what female-bodied individuals journey through in a month.
