Luke Reidy GIAF Launch: The Space Between
The Space Between transforms the gallery into a fully immersive interior experience where art, architecture, and design converge. Developed by painter and printmaker Luke Reidy in collaboration with Helena McElmeel Architects, the exhibition reimagines how contemporary interiors can be experienced, pushing the boundaries of colour, form, and spatial design.

Rather than a single space, the exhibition unfolds across a series of interconnected environments, rooms, thresholds, and transitional spaces each shaped by Reidy’s abstract visual language. Architectural elements and surfaces work in dialogue with a new body of paintings and screenprints, blurring the line between artwork and inhabitable space.

Playing on the idea of “the space between,” the exhibition explores the relationships between interior and artwork, structure and surface, movement and perception. Visitors are invited to move through and experience a bold, considered vision of how art can shape the spaces we live in.
