WTAF!? Westend Theatre & Arts Festival is a bold, alternative arts festival in the Westend of Galway celebrating theatre, music, art, drag, circus, comedy, and more in non-traditional spaces.

Grab yer pals, gals and fellow rebels and head to the Westend in Galway City this July to discover some bold and unapologetic art all in alternative venues by Ireland’s next generation of makers and shakers.

Organised and ran by local production company Hysteria Productions, this year’s festival has got music, theatre, visual art, comedy, club nights, drag and they’ve got some special surprises too. Don’t miss it!

WTAF!? is geared towards new and emerging artists and younger creative communities, with a rebellious spirit that disrupts the status quo. It’s for the punk poets, DIY dramatists, rogue musicians, chaotic creators, and anyone who’s ever felt like they don’t fit the mould (or never wanted to in the first place). If you’ve ever been told your work is too … different, too out there or doesn’t ‘fit’ the box as per say , then this is the place for you.

WTAF is supported by Galway City Council through its Arts Office and Night-Time Economy programmes, in collaboration with the Arts Council and the Department of Culture, Communications and Sport.
