The ever-popular Local Food and Craft Gift Fair, organised by the Local Enterprise Office Galway, returns to the Black Box Theatre at the end of November – and this time it’s even bigger and better!

The event celebrates Galway’s creative spirit, showcasing local designers, handcrafted goods, and artisan produce. With over 50 stands featuring the best in locally made gifts, it’s the perfect place to find something special this festive season.

Traditionally a two-day event, the fair has grown year on year. Due to popular demand (and the continued success of previous years) the 2025 fair will now run for six days, from Thursday, November 27th to Tuesday, December 2nd.

Since its launch in 2012, the Local Food and Craft Gift Fair has built a strong reputation for quality and community, featuring some of Galway’s most talented craftspeople and artisan food producers.

Visitors can look forward to discovering unique, locally made Christmas gifts and an impressive selection of artisan food products. Family favourite Barnardo the Magician also returns this year, delighting children with balloon creations and magic shows throughout the weekend – ensuring a fun day out for all ages!

Admission is free, and there is ample on-site parking available.

This year’s charity partner is the Galway Sick Kids Foundation.
