After cutting their teeth in the Galway DIY scene, HOUSEMATES best describe themselves as an explosive live outfit with a hypnotic presence, capable of leaving an imprint of sonic sincerity on the listener. Using a combination of attacking drums, driving bass, trashy guitar riffs & gritty vocals – the group have created a sound that is instantly recognizable as their own. With influences ranging from Thin Lizzy to Vulfpeck – the group’s dynamic range really shines through on stage.

At present the band are in the process of recording what is due to be their first studio release – set for release early 2025.
