Join Cruit Éireann | Harp Ireland for Happy Birthday, Mary O’Hara in Taidhbhearc na Gaillimhe on Sunday 12 May at 7pm, as we celebrate the renowned Mary O’Hara’s birthday with the release of Voices and Harps IV; Moya Brennan and Cormac de Barra’s latest album.

Mary O’Hara was an inspirational harper|singer and a pioneer of the harping tradition, whose songs to her harp accompaniment influenced musicians all over the world, and who held countless audiences spellbound from London’s Albert Hall to Carnegie Hall, New York to the Sydney Opera House. “Voices & Harps IV, Moya Brennan and Cormac de Barra’s latest album pays tribute to the life and music of Mary O’Hara with old favourites such as An Maidrín Rua and The Spinning Wheel.
