GCF presents: Steve Steen: Improv Comedy Workshop at Outset Gallery

This October the nation’s biggest comedy festival will take over Galway’s pubs and theatres for seven joyous nights, transforming the city and county into Ireland’s Comedy Capital – in the process delivering an unforgettable celebration of humour, wit, and all things funny.

Steve Steen
A leading exponent of the art form, Steve was featured in six episodes of Whose Line Is It Anyway. He also appeared on Have I Got News For You, is practically a mascot of the Galway Comedy Festival and had a star turn as Lord Byron in Blackadder The Third.

Comedy Improv Workshop
Ever watched Whose Line is it Anyway? or a live improv show and thought: “How the hell do they do that?” For the first and only time at this festival, this is your chance to learn how it’s done. Master improviser Steve Steen will teach participants the basics of improv through a series of easy and fun games. All levels welcome!

UK Whose Line Is It Anyway? cast member Steve is one of Britain’s most seasoned improvisers, working for over 50 years on stage and TV. He is also a long time regular at Galway Comedy Festival with the Improv All Stars. Includes free entry to the Improv All Stars in Róisín Dubh that afternoon.

A tidal wave of madness, mischief and merriment is heading West with the return of Galway Comedy Festival this October 22nd-28th, with Russell Howard, Dara Ó Briain, Deirdre O’Kane, Des Bishop, Dylan Moran, Ruby Wax, and Mario Rosenstock featuring in a Festival packed with comedy brilliance!
