Galway City Museum & Galway Atlantaquaria invites the public to join their fun, family-friendly experience on Ladies Beach, Salthill, on the 18th of October from 10am. As we get closer to Halloween, it is time to explore the hidden tales of our Dark Shore! To seek out ancient fossils, hidden monsters, dark tales, and the incredibly rare Hag Stone.

During the walk, you will share some short stories of ancient marine tales, and participants will be tasked to create their own small ‘merrow’ on the shore. The event will also include an Explore Your Shore activity, where you will search for anemones and other biodiversity that can be found in the rockpools of Salthill.

This event is FREE and family-friendly.
