Join Galway Cycling Campaign / Tribes on Bikes for gentle looped route along by canal, Millenium Bridge & Terryland Park with stop for treats at the Lighthouse Café, taking place on Friday 19th May.

Are you returning to cycling? Have you lost a bit of confidence on the road? Are you new to Galway and would like to cycle? Are you looking to meet new people and get involved in some community cycling events?

Galway Cycling Campaign are also organising a cycle, coffee, cake looped event at 10.30am from Ravens Terrace over the Millenium Bridge to Terryland Park (stopping at Lighthouse Cafe for refreshments) and back via canals.

This will be a safe, healthy & relaxed route for those new to pottering around on a bike, going at a gentle pace suitable for a range of ages and abilities.

Registration in advance is required for everyone joining the outing. Any participants 16 or younger, needs to travel with a parent or guardian. Children cycling their own bikes should be competent and able to cycle without swerving or stopping. No balance bikes or scooters. All bikes should be in good working order.
