Ivor Curley heads the group on vocals and saxophone with Legendary Galway guitarist Bernard Naughton. The Miki Belton on drums with brilliant base tones of Charlie Foley. Group history Ivor’s dad, Joe, with Christy Dooley started Sunday jazz back in early 70’s and has played jazz and blues, Miki has drummed with almost every Galway band over the years with style and precision, as has Bernard played and rocked every venue from Cork to Belfast and Charlie the best bass you’ll have heard on records backing top talent. An Emporium named as such as these 4 are joined frequently to make every Sunday new by a mix of Galway talent including Ailbhe Hession, Jenny O Brien, Keith McDonald, Rick Harris, Sam Wright bass, John o Dwyer bass, James Colohan, Aileen Henderson, Richard Dietrich, Terry Cooke and plenty other guest musicians all accomplished and polished players joining in to enjoy the best songs we can compliment. The venue Busker Brownes has hosted this Sunday slot with many performers and now the new Emporium mix takes over playing a growing jazz, blues, soul songs full of life and improvising fun.
