Niamh Regan is a critically acclaimed songwriter from county Galway, Ireland. Her debut album Hemet (2020, Black Gate Records) announced her arrival as one of the most distinctive songwriters in Ireland today. Earning nominations for both the RTE Folk Awards’ and the Choice Awards’ Album of the Year, the album received soaring praise, and led to performances on The Late Late Show, Other Voices, and La Blogothèque.

In recent months, Niamh has graced stages at home and overseas – Sounds from a Safe Harbour festival saw her collaborate with Olafur Arnalds, Talos, Ye Vagabonds + many more; she previewed some new songs with a full band for Other Voices UCC; played to packed festival tents on a month-long country-wide tour of Australia in March; did a run of shows in intimate venues across Switzerland; and opened for CMAT, Sam Amidon, Sorcha Richardson, John Grant, Patrick Watson, and SOAK, across Ireland and the UK.

From January – March 2024, she embarks on a solo tour across Ireland. In Bloom Agency presents Niamh Regan live at Leitrim, The Dock (Jan 27th); Galway, An Taibhdhearc (Feb 2nd); Kilkenny, Cleere’s (Feb 3rd); Cork City, Coughlan’s (Feb 4th); Limerick, Upstairs at Dolan’s (Feb 8th); Wicklow, Whale Theatre (Feb 9th); Ballydehob, Levis’ (Feb 10th); Kinsale, Prim’s (Feb 11th); and Foggy Notions presents Niamh Regan live at Unitarian Church, Dublin, Mar 2nd. Seba Safe is on support duty in Leitrim, Galway, Kilkenny, Cork; Niamh Bury joins for Limerick and West Cork; Aoife McAtamney in Wicklow, and Christof Van Der Ven in Dublin.

Following her Irish tour, Niamh will support CMAT once again on the final leg of her European tour, in Vienna, Munich, and Zurich; she’ll then continue her solo tour to 6 venues across Spain in February; 3 dates in Switzerland in March, and the UK in April, with many more to be announced.
