Talk with the locals who have been in the seafood business for decades and the hooker sailing club followed by a local seafood lunch.

Galway Bay Seafoods will be doing a talk about sustainable fishing, the history of the Claddagh’s fishing and their own personal history of being in business for over 70 years. Followed by a visit to the Galway Hooker Restoration Workshop to learn about the history of the Galway Hooker. Finishing off with lunch of local seafood tasters prepared by Master Chef & Author Martin Ruffley & Chef Gavin Gleeson.

Lunch will be based around tasting the local seafood we have here in Galway such as lobster, crab, shellfish.
