Cava Bodega Showcasing the very best of Spanish food and wine

Cava Bodega was established in 2008 by JP McMahon and Drigín Gaffey in order to bring something new to Galway and celebrate Spanish cooking. Due to its award-winning food and laid back feel, Cava Bodega soon became very popular among locals and tourists alike. Cava Bodega is a great example of the international trend for good ethical casual food in a shared environment- with tapas, food is passed around the table in a communal style.

The tapas menu showcases over 70 regional Spanish Tapas. Committed to supporting the local farmers and producers, we purchase our fish, meat, and vegetables locally.

The drinks menu is entirely devoted to Spanish wine and sherry with a focus on natural and organic wines. Our beers and ciders are a mix of Spanish and local craft.

So whether you are popping in for a quick tapa and a glass of vino or gathering with a group of friends or family, Cava Bodega is the perfect place to enjoy the tapas way of life!
