Located on Main Street in the heart of Clifden, Guy’s Bar has been welcoming visitors to Connemara for over a century.

This bar is a great place to relax beside turf fires and enjoy the company of friends or strangers, young and old. The bar is made of small intimate traditional snugs and corners, and whether it be on cold winter’s day or hot summer’s evening, Guy’s Bar is the perfect setting for a great meal out, coffee with a friend, or as part of a great day out with the family.

The bar boasts an extensive lunch menu and evening menu with daily specials, as well as a mouth-watering selection of seasonal seafood dishes that have earned them their reputation as one of Galway’s best seafood destinations. Guy’s Bar is also home to a great selection of drinks to offer, including a wide range of premium whiskeys and draft beers. Their wine list features owner Shane O’Grady’s specially blended French Chardonnay.

In the evenings they host regular lively traditional Irish music sessions.
