Youth Lates as part of Saint Patrick’s Festival in Galway City

Young musicians and bands from Galway City will take centre stage in the 2025 Saint Patrick's Festival celebrations, as Youth Lates take over the Eyre Square stage on Sunday March 16th. Find out more here...

Youth Lates will run from 4.30pm to 6pm on Sunday March 16th, taking place on the Eyre Square Stage as part of Féile Phádraig, bringing three brilliant young bands to perform: Big Nothing, Metanoia and TaLLLon.

Big Nothing are a post punk/shoegaze band from Galway. Fronted by Alex Conneely, the line up consists of Donnchadh Kennedy on bass, Ernie McDonagh with lead guitar and Elia DeLisi on drums.

Metanoia are an indie pop/rock group from Galway. Inspired by the sounds of the '90s alternative scene, contemporary indie pop, post punk and funk, they  are known for their catchy hooks, impressive melodies and tight rhythm section.

TaLLLon is a four-piece teenage rock band from Galway, featuring Liam (vocals/guitar), Cian (bass), Adam (drums), and Ultan (guitar). Blending energetic covers with original music, TaLLLon draws inspiration from rock legends like Weezer, Metallica, Green Day, Nirvana, and Thin Lizzy, shaping a sound that’s both fresh and full of attitude.
