Since 2011 AWOL Tattoos & Piercing LTD have been providing the good people of Galway with the finest tattoos and professional piercing at #2 Newtownsmith. Owners, brother and sister, Angus and Áine, have been working in the industry since the late 90s and have poured this wealth of knowledge and experience into every facet of the business.

Since 2021 the piercing side of the business now resides at AWOL Piercing, 44 Upper Abbeygate St, just up the street from the original AWOL Tattoos.

As a tattoo studio they specialise in many different styles including Traditional, neo traditional, new skool, black and grey, fineline, ornamental and much much more.

With several artists working 7 days a week there’s a style and time to suit everyone.
As a piercing studio there is a focus on professionalism, cleanliness, and choice. Using the best jewellery and standards of practice.

Tattooing is strictly 18+ and ages vary from 8+ to 18+ for piercings but photo ID is always required.
